06/15/2013 Bella went into heat and we will hopefully be expecting puppies the first part of August. Hope everyone is as excited as we are!
NOTE: As of right now we are not taking deposits for people to be placed on the waiting list until we know how many puppies she has in her. Thank you.
We wish you a great Summer!
A Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and Black Standard Poodle.
Color: Our Bernedoodles come in many different colors! From black & white, black, Tri-colored ( like the Bernese Mountain Dog), Tri-brindle, and black & brown.
Coat: From crossing these two breeds the coat will vary from wavy to curly. The curlier the coat the less your dog will shed, and the wavy coat will shed a little but not as much as the Bernese. Since these dogs do not shed their coat like a normal dog he/she will need to be clipped every 4-5 months.
Height/Weight: Both height and weight will depend on the sex and parents. Our mother (Berner) is at 100lbs. and the father (Standard Poodle) is at 75lbs.The average weight of a bernedoodle is 50-75lbs.
Personality: The personality of a Bernedoodle is fun, loyal, playful, very intelligent, and will also relax with you. The personality is more laid back like the Bernese Mountain Dog but with the intelligence of a Poodle. Which makes a great mix! These are very good family dogs and we have had many compliments on them. Our puppies have went to households of kids ages ranging from 3+ including families with special needs children. They really know who they can play with and who to be gentle around.
Below: Is one of our sweet litter girls that has been adopted from our spring litter. "Coach" went to a great home and is doing so good! The O'Donnell family said "She is an awesome puppy! She is so much fun and very loveable. My 2-year-old niece just adores her and Coach is really good with her."
*This breed cannot be registered at the American Kennel Club or Canadian.
Before going to a new home: We like to know what the puppy's surroundings will be to assure a good home. They will all have first shots, 2 series of de-worming, dewclaws removed, check-up by the vet I work for, and a nice bubble bath.
Photos above are from previous litter.
